How many account with the OV auto check for you?

right now my Loft is set to auto check 3 differnt accounts.

Will the OV have the same ability?

Also will the OV nag me to close the email program like the loft does, even though I didn't open it?

[only annoying part, the Loft auto checks my email, then nags me to close the program it opened. ]

You should be able to check as many accounts as you want with any Android phone, and you shouldn't have any nag problems. I'm not sure if the default e-mail app has a limit on the number of accounts, but even if it does, there are plenty of other e-mail apps available.
