Mobi f&f plan?

Saw one on Hofo, am interested in buying it.

Does the unlimited data incl. tethering?

Also, here's the tricky question (asked this about Wind, too): are there any restrictions on the tethering and the data? Large downloads blocked, port blocking, traffic shaping, VPNS or proxy servers blocked, throttled after a certain amount, etc.? Aside from the latter (throttling after a certain amount), any of the above are deal breakers. Thanks!

1. F&F plans cannot be transferred to any other individual. I think the account holder's name and the phone number must remain the same for someone else to take over the plan.

2. Yes, Mobilicity's data includes tethering.

3. There is no amount for limit specified, but recently there have been a few abusers whose accounts were closed without notice. Former CEO of Mobilicity mentioned on his tweeter that some abusers used 175GB-300GB in 1 month, and we believe 'abuse' can be any amount starting from 5-10GB per month.

Not sure about port/VPN/proxy blocking...someone else can help you there.

P2P is completely blocked (the required ports aren't allowed)

They do shape traffic.

If you use an encrypted tunnel/proxy to try to hide what you're doing or to make it appear to the website that you are visiting that you are in a different country, expect that all data transfer will be throttled by Mobilicity.

Much of the flash video content is throttled to the point that you can't use it.

There's no set amount for which they will throttle the entire connection but at some unknown amount, Mobilicity has closed accounts in the past.

I tried watching Canada's Worst Driver 7 online. I have to know to pause for a minute at low points while it keeps streaming - kind of a buffer. I have to figure out how to capture this stream.

VPN traffic will be problematic as well.
