Hi, im looking to buy the docomo t-01d. Ive read several forums and it saids it has the aws1700 frequency, but im not sure if the Japanese aws1700 frequency is compatible with Wind mobiles frequency. Can anyone help please....thx
Japanese 1700 is NOT the same as AWS. It puts both upstream and downstream next to each other in the 1700 region while AWS is 1700 up/2100 down. Just because it's got both halves doesn't mean they function as a whole (and I imagine that no steps will be taken to introduce AWS until roaming on it from Japan is either necessary or the carriers offering it give an incentive to docomo make it happen).
Where's the dialtone?
