You cannot change the default location for installing apps. Some developers make theirs to install on the microSD and others default to installing on internal memory.
However, many applications will allow you to move them from phone to card or vice versa once installed. Go to Settings --> Applications --> Manage Applications. Touch the app you want to move and then press the Move button. This button will let you know where the app is currently located. If you get "Move to SD" is because the app is currently in the phone's internal storage. If you get "Move to Phone" the app is currently stored on the external memory card. If the Move button is grayed out, the app doesn't support being moved.
I don't have an Ipod Touch to compare, but looking at the specs on these two items, Fusion is listed at 0.47" as opposed to the Ipod that is listed at 0.3".
I may be selling mine as well. I've had a week or two to use the phone and over all it's not too bad, but the battery life really sucks.
I have to charge this thing every night, even if I don't use it all day. I charged it the other night and in the morning all I did was power on the phone. After approximately 24 hours I checked the battery level and there was a message saying that I needed to plug in the charger as the level was below 15%.
I thought that if you didn't use the phone that the stand by time would be a lot longer than 24 hours.
I realize that there might be something running on the phone causing the battery to drain so fast, so I disabled gps and bluetooth. I did download some apps so maybe one of those is causing issues with the battery.
Possible culprits. Avast Security, Beautiful Widgets, Palmary Weather. Those are just a few that I can think of that might cause issues.
I also realize that people claim that these Android phones are notorious for poor battery life, but only 24 hours when the phone wasn't used at all?
Not sure what I'm going to do at this point. Are there any Android phones out there with a decent battery life?
Even after I charge the phone completely, if I play around with it or make a call or two, the battery really goes down fast. Maybe it's a bad battery. Who knows.
I can't get the Android YouTube app working on my new Fusion. Any ideas? I did the normal stuff like clearing cache, etc. Getting an error stating that connection was lost.
You need Wi-Fi access, or a data package to use YouTube. I'd go with just Wi-Fi because streaming video uses up a LOT of data. If already using Wi-Fi, make sure you don't venture too far from the router.
