I'm sorry but most of you are making this harder than it really is...
Just call, add it, and drop it. The unlimited data will not be removed. The feature will be pro-rated.
iPhone 4 - 550 Min Fam Plan w/ 5 F&F | Unl Data | 1500 Txt | Home Phone Connect (2nd Line)
Tell that to those that did that, were audited and lost it. Some have been audited and in anywhere from 1 hour to one week lost it and were reverted back. Also tell that to people that no matter how many times they have called could not get it added.
In theory it should always work as easily as you have said. Then there's reality. It's kind of a downer.

Ill put data back on there if you ha it before, but I can clearly see when someone is trying to cheat the system. We get audited and it comes back sooner or later.
So someone has the unlimited hotspot and unlimited data using this loophole or whatever it is then after a few months decides they don't want the hotspot anymore. Is that cheating the system.
It also says nothing about this applying only to grandfathered plans.

Does this have anything to do with Verizon trying their best to remove the open access provisions in Upper Band C? That would be a shame if that happened.
Fiber backhaul for Verizon in Southern Illinois in 2013 - about time.
I wonder if today's AT&T's announcement to raiser their rates on tiered data plans is signaling a price war where big changes are coming.
It appears more and more to me that this was a promotion. Its either that, or Verizon is trying to save face on not catching this glitch sooner. Either way, it appears that they are moving on. I've got to believe that they have bigger issues than this is being made to be. I've still yet to see mass account resets and unlimited data removed!
I for one kept the MHS and I will be mad as heck if Verizon makes any changes to my account if I decide later that I no longer want MHS AND I WILL PROTEST WITH MY WALLET AND GO ELSE WHERE! If they want to go after those who got MHS and immediately dumped it then they need to fight that battle differently than from those who are legitimately giving this a go.
So what is your take on all of this? For those who have it and haven't had it taken away yet, are you saying that it will catch up with them sooner or later? Will Verizon just close this and let those who have it keep it and just start anew with the new customers by not giving it to them?
