When I logged into systems this morning, billing system had a "new update coming - here's what's changing".
One of the changes has to do with how the system is going to handle the unlimited data sfo's.
In short: if the account has not had the code on it in the last 30 days (which basically allows us to fix genuine mistakes), the system won't show the code as available at all.
So brand new lines of service are going to be tiered only, no loophole possible because there's obviously no possible way they'll have had unlimited in the last 30 days.
