They could be making changes to the network since they are doing quite a bit of work in that area. I would imagine it would be back on soon maybe a week at most thats my guess.
Wrightsville beach, NC right? It's been mostly 2g since november. (when i first got here)
I thought something seemed off, I thought you were referring to a town called Wright in Florida by Destin. And since its on the coast I just pieced the two together. I just looked at compass and it shows 3G/4G coverage but it doest look to be reliable because it isn't covering the land mass all the way out to the ocean.
The only areas of Oklahoma that have received 3G since T-Mobile first launched it years ago are the little area in the west that receives bleed-off from the 3G at Shamrock, TX, and the one in the southwest that receives bleed-off from 3G in Wichita Falls and Vernon, TX. Other than that, nothing has been added to any city, town, or highway since 3G was first launched in Oklahoma, in 2009.
And what is with this area in New Mexico? Attachment 78845
This is new, and is odd since that entire area is nothing but open desert with no population at all. It consists of right-angles at the edges, which makes it highly suspicious as well.

They must have hired Verizon coverage painter... LOL
It must be a tourist area and so they are trying to remove all the roaming, that and they may be using it to show At&t they have coverage in areas they don't so they can get a roaming agreement. thats just a guess though.

It's odd on compass.t-mobile.com. It sorta appears that the 4g and the 2g don't exactly match. Might be 4g in the roaming area. just no 2g. (which only shows in voice maps.)
