slow down on the promotions and realign their offerings permanently.

while promotions are necessary to attract customers, i feel they are starting to erode the image of the brand.
mobilicity will eventually need to increase their ARPU and waiting to do so will only hurt them in the long run.

I agree with live strong... the regular rate plans are pretty meaningless with all these promos. I wouldn't be surprised if 90% of customers right now are on some sort of promotional plan, the other 10% probably don't follow the company's news or they would probably switch too!

Quicker turn-around time for warranty service. I hear WIND does a swap while Mobilicity has you wait weeks with a deposit down on a (crappy Mobiflip!) loaner phone.

Isn't it in their best interest to get you going with a fix for your broken phone as quick as possible in order to continue to use their services?

you still pay for your service while your phone is being repaired.

Not to be the devil's advocate, but how much are you willing to pay for it?

If it was unshaped and unthrottled and allowed a reasonable cap (say 200+GB), I think the maximum I would pay would be $65.

You can't compare cable with wireless. How about something more in line with the rest of the world. Last time I checked, singtel had something like 30gb for SG$40. That's more in line with Asian providers who offer the cheapest dataplans in the world.

the sgd is close to cad - but let's assume mobilicity does follow singtel. You will get 50GB for $65. (No promo price).

Well, grandfathered Fido users get over 100 GB for $50 :P but I definitely see your point, new data plans at that rate may not be terribly realistic. Although, they say Wind's data plan is becoming more open as time goes on...

    Getting a new website

    GOSH!! Mobilicity's website is AWFUL!

Looks cheap, hard to find information, lack of good information and horrible color and graphic selection. The website alone makes Mobilicity looks like a CHEAP brand...

Even Public Mobile has a much more PROFESSIONAL looking website, and a blog where they keep posting news about the company like coverage expansion and new sites going live...

MOBI visual marketing team is a DISASTER!!!!!!!!!!!

ALSO cover the Path in Toronto and increase tower density in the downtown core where the office towers are.

Mobi will NEVER do a tab. Dobbin said so, as Mobi intends to only ever be a 'prepaid' company, without contracts, and a Tab is just a contract.

Their website isn't bad at all. The tabs along the top use "ajax" and pop down when you hover over them. Wind's you have to click it.
I'd say Bell's website is far far worse - you can't easily compare price points, or products, as they have hidden all the useful information in fine print etc.
