I am trying to activate verizon htc thunderbolt with clean ecn for voice ant text only. I was able to change MIN1 and Min2, but they go back after restart. Can you help?
Thanks
Update:
After flashing with CDMA WS 2.7 and ESN change from other PP phone text and incoming calls work fine. Outgoing calls are not working.
Get stuck in calling mode. Any ideas?
About to be doing the same thing myself here in a few days, but I'm having issues with CDMA Workshop right now (I purchased the license but it does not activate my program). Are there any other programs as capable as CDMA Workshop to perform the full "flash" for the Thunderbolt? I'm almost to the point of starting a chargeback against the company for all of the problems I've been having, and I'll gladly pay for any other application that can perform everything I need it to so that I can get my newly purchased Thunderbolt on PPC.
Sounds about the best I'll be able to do without CDMA-WS. Thank you for your reponse btw.
I'm thinking as long as I can just get voice and text working at this point that I'll be just fine, and anything else extra is just icing on the cake (possibly even RTT x1). These guys that own CDMA Workshop have exasperated me enough that I'd rather just sell the phone and buy a new one if I can't get it working properly.
I have activated / programmed 3 TB's on P+. I have gotten outgoing calls, incoming/outgoing texts, and 1x data on all three, but only incoming calls working on 1. The other two will only receive incoming calls if a call is already in progress. I have changed SIM cards. With no SIM card, there is no data. I have used just any old SIM card, as well as the 4G cards with no dice on the two. I have had better luck with CDMA Workshop 3.8.0 than on 2.7. The video tutorial on Youtube (I won't link it here, and it's a private video, so if you need to see it, PM me, and I will link you). I didn't make the video, nor am I responsible for it's content. If I manage to get incoming calls working on the rest of these phones (I have 3 more to do today) then I will try to post a tutorial on how I got it done. If any of you have insight, let me know.
Thanks for the reply. Its actually not Hard to do this, just time-consuming.
1. Reboot to modem+diagnosis by dialing ##3424 and send.
2. Connect to PC via USB and find which COM port you're on.
3. Open CDMA Workshop 3.5 or higher and connect to the COM port.
4. In security, send 000000 for the SPC.
5. In Main, change CDMA in the drop down to CDMA2.
6. Change R-UM to NV Only. Write to phone.
7. In other tab, load PRL for both NAM 1 and 2.
8. Reboot phone via power button. Do not exit diag mode.
9. Reconnect and resend 000000.
10. Change drop down in Main to CDMA. Use class 1 and write your MIN in the first field. For pagepluscellular, use 3100xxxxxxxxxx. It may differ for Cricket., etc.
11. Leave True IMSI alone.
12. Write DIR number (your number).
13. Write to phone and repeat for NAM2.
14. Using lower Read button, read phone.
15. If everything is there, switch drop down to EDVO.
16. Where the fields are filled in, put vzw for the password (should be 2nd and 4th fields).
17. Replace 0000000000 in 5th field for your number.
18. Click on M.IP profiles and ensure that your number is in the fields. Put vzw for the shared secret fields.
19. Close this box, and write to phone.
20. Read phone again, and ensure all is correct. Reboot phone via menu button on Diag screen to embedded mode.
That's it. Make sure you have a SIM card in, but not the 4g card. Anything else is fine... T-Mobile, at&t... doesn't matter.
+1 for last post except that in my case I was porting my old number and you need to do OTA or get PP to let you know all settings like MIN and staff. So, After I've got confirmation from PP that port was done I've put 4G SIM into my phone and power it up. It started activation and after few attempts it was successfull with SIM in (you can't do OTA without SIM in this phone). Also, 3G works for me only if I have 4G SIM card in. I don't mind espesially that I have fully working TB on PP (no 4G but have 3G).
I did all of the above when I was trying to configure my old Thunderbolt for PPC, but no matter if I had the SIM card installed or not I could not get all of the functions working at once. I'm under the impression that being able to program these phones for PPC is pretty hit and miss...really makes me wonder if having a certain version of the firmware installed on the device has any impact.

I have been thinking the same thing. It seems that the Froyo version doesn't want to receive calls. And I can't seem to download system updates via wifi. Of the 6 I've done for customers now, the only one that failed to receive calls was also the only one on Froyo.
My ThunderBolt is working perfectly. I bought it recently on sale on Cowboom.com (verizon remanufactured phone - $130 w/ charger, manuals, near-new condition). I thought I could just call Page Plus and activate it (with sim card removed). This is not the case. I read the posts, looked at You Tube videos about how to buy the progarm and reprogram it to flash it to Page Plus. Decided I was over my head and it sounded like the program cost over $100 and required windows 7 computer and did not install smoothly. I found a reference in one of the posts to BeigePhone.com. I called and talked to them. They charge $50 for programming a verizon thunderbolt to page plus. I mailed my phone to them on Wed, us priority mail fully insured with tracking($15 from Washington State to their shop in Dallas, TX). They programmed it to Page Plus, got me a local number for my location (decided I will port my old number to Google Voice and just forward calls to my new PagePlus number) and activated it. It arrived back from Texas on monday - awesome service and still well within the 30 day return period at Cowboom.com. It works perfectly. It makes and receives phone calls. It sends and receives SMS and MMS texts. It does internet and email. It works on mobile internet and wi-fi. I am very pleased. It is running Android version 2.2.1. Sending it to BeigePhone was cheaper than buying the hacking program and all I had to do was turn it on when it got back. It is a very nice phone with big screen and I like the larger size for viewing and touch screen. It is a heavy phone, even without the extended battery. And, I need to down load some aps to save battery life by fine tuning settings and also some aps to prevent all the garbage programs from dialing home. I had Beige Phone activate PagePlus THE 12 plan($12/mth), and in one day it had used up this plan's data attlottment (10 mb). So, I set up my page plus acct and bought a stand phone card for $10 which gives it 50 MB more data and the additional dollars for data rollover if not used. (I plan to use it on WIFI most of the time). However, I loved sitting in Costco parking lot yesterday and checking email! For general information it does not have a sim card in it. It returns a message to this effect when you power it up. You proceed to unlock it, ignoring the message and it works perfectly. Upon power up it says "No SIM Card in Phone (emergency calls only) Please Insert Sim. If you ignore that message - tap it in the middle of the screen and drag/flick down, it then unlocks and is on one of the home pages. It is an awesome phone, working perfectly. It was well worth having BeigePhone.com handle this. I am going to get one for my husband, too, now I know it works. And, since the phone arrived from Cowboom without any sim card, I emailed their customer serivce and they credited me back $20 for the lack of sim card. The phone also did not have SD card but I bought a sandisk 32 GB microSDHC card on Amazon for $30. I am not a tech person at all, so this solution was perfect for me.
