Anyone seeing any trace signal of AT&T LTE in Raleigh yet? Any thoughts on the Charlotte roll-out? Given AT&T's spectrum holdings they have both a 700 and AWS spectrum holdings and am very interested to see what people experiences are.

I meant to post that this weekend; good to hear independent confirmation of it! Apparently, it is in testing right now, so flickers of it will appear for some people.
It really looks like AT&T is aggressively pushing out LTE for when the new iPhone is released this summer!
I'm located in Carpenter Village in Cary (just on the border of Morrisville) and for the first time today the 4G lte signal appeared on my Skyrocket. It only lasted for a few hours and now it's back to the 4G (HSPA+). Download speed tested at 3.43 Mbps and upload was 3.00 Mbps. Not so good compared to when I was in DC and Dallas (27.7down/10.4up). But the upload speed was considerably faster than with AT&T 3G/HSPA+ (right now its 1.14/0.79).
Looking forward to LTE and now I'm not as worried that trading my Samsung GSII for the Skyrocket was the wrong choice.
makes it worthwhile when rooted and tethered
I just pulled 12.4 mb down and 5.6 mb up with a quick speed test in RTP with only 3 bars inside of a building that gives a crappy signal. Very impressed!
HTC Vivid.
15.5 down/7 up at Glenwood and Wade Ave in Raleigh.

By the way, the N&O is giving away an LTE tablet and phone. http://bit.ly/t8sbue
LTE is definitely live in Raleigh and Chapel Hill. I'm getting 13 Mb/s down and 5.8 Mb/s up in Morrisville, very close to RDU airport.
its been officially announced now.
