For two hours now I've been unable to make or receive phone calls. The only number that works is 611.
Called Mobilicity, waited 20minutes for technical support and was advised by the agent that the network is down everywhere in Canada as of 2pm EST. She said she's not sure if it'll be fixed by tomorrow (pretty scary thing to say) but that "all hands are on deck".
I've been rooting for Mobilicity but this is unacceptable.

wow, that is something you dont admit to the customer.
the proper response would have been:
"we have technicians working to resolve the issue, we apologize for the inconvenience"

I couldn't agree more. My family has 2 lines with Mobilicity and two with WIND. We've never had an issue with the WIND network and so I'll be switching my two remaining lines, this is too sketchy for me.
Wow, this is the last straw. I just switched to Mobilicity a month ago, filled with glee because there was this great new company offering affordable plans. I've had nothing but major technical issues with my phone (which they refuse to replace) and now this. Time to eat the cost of the phone and defect to one of the giants so I can at least get a decent phone and reliable coverage.

you could try selling your device on HowardForums and/or kijiji.
i am sure there will be takers if the price is right.
My service has been down as well. I was thinking it had something to do with a call from their fraud department or something this AM, or a low battery or something... that it was a local service outage at the north-end of Toronto, but I guess not... it also hit Scarborough and is still out...
Yeah, I get texts fine too - it's just calls that I can neither make nor receive.
We are experiencing some network difficulty in all of our markets. We are aware of the issue and are working on a solution. Thank you for your patience. We will keep you posted. ^jc
UPDATE: The issue is related to some voice calling.
