    Coverage close to boundry

    Hello,

My house is right on the boundry, but in falls in the purple. A couple of houses down on my street fall in the orange.

How sensative is this boundry? To make it interestng the house is really close to the US border.

I plan to forward the Chatr line to my home line 24/7.

It's operated by Rogers. Only signals from approved towers will be included in the unlimited coverage. So there is no warning indicator at all. There is no way to know unless your phone somehow has that ability to show which tower it is communicating to. Even then you still need to know the id number for the included towers.

Mobility and Wind, on the other hand, will need to roam on other networks outside of their coverage. So their boundary is very obvious.

My suggestion, don't waste your energy with Chatr if you live in a boundary zone. You will be spending a lot of time talking to the CSR everyone to argue over extra charges.

yet another reason zones are such a scam. At least with real roaming you know when you are roaming. Zoning, being artificial roaming (but worse), is just a money grab.

Given they currently have the most expensive data in the Rogers family, you think that is likely?
