Wind Suspended Me For No Reason.. WTF???

In terms of the OP---I've never heard of random suspensions for no reason...perhaps an issue with their Pay Before billing system? I.e. the voice and text was renewed, but the data (for some reason) was not?

Let's see if a pattern starts to be formed and if this carries through to many people. If it's like Christmas, that's when they kicked people off the "infinite calling" add-ons because they used infinite too much, something about this time of year WIND likes to take a little back.

Does infinite mean without limits? So how can you penalize someone for using something you say is endless too much?

You haven't confirmed if you've an Android phone, but if you do I figure you can count on ckl_88's theory being right on the money. I get a similar issue (G2 using custom ROMs, and in the GVRD, too) fairly often, it's completely random when it comes back, but often it will once I'm on a new tower or sometimes if I cycle data or airplane mode. It mostly happens to me at home, so I just switch on the wifi, but it's a bit annoying.

Either way, I wouldn't be holding my breathe for a callback.

I had that happen to me my first month with wind. Took endless calls to get the problem fixed. Eventually was credited with a free month for all my hassle. Looking back i shoulda just found another phone carrier lol.

You must of missed the part where i called and the lady said my account was suspended, as for the reason she does not know.

go into the stock phone dialer and type *#*#4636#*#*. Then select phone information. In that page, scroll down to the section where it says GSM disconnects. If you see a bit of text that says "failed due to protocol errors" your data connection is hooped until you toggled on/off airplane mode...

when I did this i get:
GSM Disconnects:
=======DATA==========
State: DcInactiveState
disconnected with last try at 2:59pm
fail because no error

I was posting from my phone, sigs get excised on the HoFo android application. I saw that your account was "suspended". My opinion was that you're an idealist who expects waaaay too much honesty and straight-forwardness out of customer service representatives. Anyway, I'm hoping the fact you aren't back complaining means that you did get it resolved, one way or the other. If you did get a call back, I am interested to hear how they resolved the issue and what they eventually diagnosed the problem as being, if they shared that much.
