The code for the Field Test Menu is " *#*#197328640#*#*".

    I haven't noticed any 3G on 1900MHz in NYC.

At my house, I could see the "3G" network come and go.. first pic is at my house when I caught it.

Second and third pic are the middle of Bloomington/Normal's east side.. debugging screen attached per previous note. Fourth and fifth were added as additional snapshots to verify I was still on this new "3G" network. Note that the phone still stated I was on EDGE, and there's a funny little call forwarding icon that showed up on this network only.

Im assuming you have 3G enabled on your iPhone at all or most times. Thats what I have been doing for the past month, the only thing I noticed is that it will search for a 3G network for a few mins and then finally connect to EDGE.

Nope, not yet. Had to take those snapshots real quick while stopped at stoplights...

No triple networks showing up in Portland... I've been scanning for the past two days.

Strange that the boonies in Central Illinois - two hours away from Chicago, St. Louis, or Indy, is showing a 3G network.

Tell me about it! T-mobile doesn't have a very large 3g network in the peoria, bloomington market. Hell, they don't even have galesburg in 3g yet! I call it cellforgotonia.

I was reading on a T-Mobile forum that people were getting 3G for a second in Oakland when they were at chabot park. The post is at the bottom.

Was out mountain biking in the Issaquah area (east of Seattle), and picked up the PCS 3G there. So far it's only there and in downtown Bellevue, I still haven't seen anything in Seattle itself yet. Here's some screenshots:

Verrrrrrry nice! I'm sure you're loving it. Using my iPhone on EDGE was only tolerable back in '09... bad idea today (I've tried). What is the coverage like? Does it seem the same or worse than the GSM off of these cell sites?
LTE has arrived. The third carrier in Las Vegas with 10x10 LTE coverage

Coverage will expand to 100 million LTE pops for the first half of 2013, with the second half of 2013 expanding to 200 million POPs covered. Release 10 LTE (2×10, 2×20) will be better performing than all other competitors.
T-Mobile USA. “This year, we’re stepping on the gas again. We are making continued coverage improvements and launching an advanced LTE network
