    Rollover Data on Red Pocket

I just found out this tonite and maybe Im dumb and everyone knew this but me (duh) but when I refilled today for the next month due on Dec 20, my remaining 1200Mbs rolled over to the next month so now I have 3248Mbs starting Dec 20.

I think thats way cool and the CSR just confirmed and so does #777*# thing.

    Cool.
Didnt know but very happy about this!

This is exceptional for an MVNO to offer this. Seems like they really did their research on these plans before implementing them.

Could be a quirk. Anyone else have other confirmations of this? Would be great and a definite reason for choosing RP over other Att mvnos.

Since AT&T offers rollover minutes you would think roll over data would dove tail nicely with their plans and counter Verizons double data promo.

I hope it isn't but I'm skeptical. However my online data left is showing 3215mb and so is the #777*# thing.
What I'm thinking is on Dec 20 when the new cycle begins again, they will deduct the remaining mbs unused from the previous month and start over with 2048.
    We will see.
But as fonezfonz says, has anyone else seen this and can verify or maybe must have used up their 2GBs before the cycle. Hehe.

Just a question on Red Pocket - the data is NOT throttled right?

Its faster than H2O, but still slower than Postpaid or Straight Talk (SIM swap)

Anyways called Red Pocket just now and they said there is no rollover data which of course most of us suspected. However, they are unable to remove the data that rolled over (yay) so they said I lucked out. But I still think there should be rollover for everything cause if you pay for something you should get to keep it regardless if you use it or not.

m.thomas has a 3.76Mbps download screenshot using an iPhone.

Even if it is throttled a bit but can remain above 1Mbps, it's generally fine for most applications.

Heck, I only get (and pay for) 3Mbps down and 1 up on my home ISP.

It sounds like a great deal and has me seriously thinking of Jolt or Red Pocket for my line.

I won't tolerate poor CS (like H2o) or a low grade handset (like on Virgin Mobile) so this seems like a good option on all fronts.

Oh man, this would be so awesome if it works out! Last month on the last day of my cycle I had about 500mb left and did EVERYTHING I could to use it up... Watched Netflix, YouTube, pandora, Vevo and surfed all day!! Still had like 160mb left lol. But I still want them if they are mine My wife lost about 1,600mb... that just hurts to
my stomach but oh well. Let us know what happens on the 20th!!

Yea, even though I have [consistently] been getting those speeds I still say its throttled. But the main thing is that it is CONSISTENT! All you have to do is pretty much look at H2O and think of the opposite and you have Red Pocket

Today I started my new cycle of 30 days and my data rolled over.
I have 2906.4 mbs right now. Roughly 858mbs were carried over.
Prob won't happen again and its a one time fluke though if anyone else has remained under 2GB and went into their next month, I'm curious to hear if you lost the data or it rolled over.

Ok.. Ok.. Ok.. So what did you do? You just paid for your next month in advance? Say you had 10 days left and then went ahead and paid for the next month in advance and that's what happened for you? I'm gonna try that this month.

ooops sorry didn't mean to repeat myself like my original post, I just wanted to confirm that now that I'm in the new cycle, the data did rollover. When I first posted I had only paid for this cycle so didn't know if I'd lose it when I got to the start of the cycle which was December 20. I paid for it on December 17. That is when I noticed the current months cycle and the one coming were added together. Hope this helps. Jeff
