Are upgrades paid in store or on the bill

    Hi Guys,
For upgrades purchased at Corporate Stores, are they paid in store, or billed to the account.

Paid in store. TELUS doesn't give you the option to add it to your bill like with Rogers.

Is the EDUF paid in store or on the bill? I'd assume the latter as it is more of a service charge rather than a hardware charge.

Upgrade fees are charged to the invoice as far as I know.

In dealer stores, any early device upgrade fee is put on bill, with device costs and any activation or setup fees charged in store.

At corporate stores, the EDUF is charged in store along with the hardware exchange fee ($25).

Funny the Telus website makes no mention of the $25 upgrade fee.

Is paying off the device balance done in store, or on the bill (same as EDUF or no?)

The device balance is the EDUF.

The 25$ is sometimes 35$, depends in what store you get your phone, corp or not. A lot of dealers do 35$

Anyone have tips / advice on getting the dealer to waive the upgrade fee that goes on your bill?

**Not asking for reasons on why they won't, I'm well versed.

Stores CAN waive the fee (technically), but they are not "supposed" to.
611 said to "discuss with the store".

Retailers are currently waiving both the 35 new activation and 25 upgrade fees, or at least I know London Drugs is.
