    How to convert files to APK format?

    I am wanting to know how to convert say .jar and .tar files to .apk format? Its for my Droid 2 global. Ive been trying to do this for some time now and have had no luck. Anyone's help would be appreciated. Thank you!

    I also need help with the same thing. I recently purchased a program to download on my Iphone (my carrier is AT&T) & am having a difficult time converting the .JAR & .TAR files to .APK files. Please help if anyone can!!!
