Will a $30 all you need plan work in a unlocked phone?

I did some research and I understand that the sim card from a E71 can be used on most unlocked phone. However, the E71 requires the $45 unlimited plan.

I was wondering if I can just get a $30 all you need plan with a different phone and use that sim card on my Xperia Mini Pro. Would that work?

    -----------------

Or, if I do get the $45 plan with the E71, can I downgrade to the $30 plan later?

From what I can see, the E71 requires a $45 plan? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been with AT&T for 7 years, and it's time for me to gtfo. All I need is a $30 plan for calls and texting.

And AT&T wants $20 to add texts.... F that.

What other phone? Only the E71's SIM works. All other SIMs do not. This has been asked 1093102910 times. If other phones SIM cards worked then we all wouldn't be buying E71s.

You need to use the E71. The E71 only works with the $45 plan.
You put those two statements together now.

If you want a $30 plan go to t-mobile, pageplus cellular (verizon reseller), or virgin mobile (sprint).

As said above, $45 plan only. No way around this.
That SIM in the E71 requires the $45 plan and you cannot downgrade.

The phones that support the $30 plan on ST don't have unlocked SIMs.

Yeah with T-mobile I believe you can use pretty much any phone with the $30 plan

with straight talk the $30 is only for dumb phones, all smart phones require $45 plan which is worth it IMO since it's unlimited.

I was paying $100 for 700 minutes NO TXTS NO DATA for verizon 2 phone family plan.
