    Looks like any of the 3G phones require the 3G data plan - this phones does not require one so I guess it is 2G only

    I tried it... it still on 2G, and you can't even put custom ringtones on it..

    is it possible to list what phones can have custom ringtones, the only one that is confirmed working is the E520 (but does not say what method was used)

    Also if the Android phone was brought off at $199, would it still need 3G data plan?
