Exclamation Trying to buy a Japanese Phone... but will it work with MetroPCS?

I'm trying to buy either this Japanese phone: http://mb.softbank.jp/en/products/sharp/832sh.html
    or this one: http://mb.softbank.jp/en/products/sharp/831sh_kt.html

I'm going to unlock it but when I do, I want to ask if I can use it with MetroPCS.
As if I were buying a phone from Metro and having the options to talk and text but with a Japanese phone.

I'd like to know because my dad said he wouldn't buy me it if it didn't work here in the US.

Also, if I can't use it with Metro... what other phone company will let me? Cricket, Verizon, AT&T, Virgin Mobile, T-mobile, Boost Mobile, etc. another not-well-known phone company?

Just wanted to mention also that software unlock is better than hypersim unlocked phones. I'm not sure if the ones you linked are software unlockable, but they might be since they are old.
