I know this was talked about before but I don't remember what thread it was in.
The subject of Easy Wifi for RW and other Voip converted phones came up but it was discovered that the Easy Wifi app was no longer in the Android Market.
I found a link to the EW page with the APK file for those who still want to use it. For those who aren't familiar with EW I will try to post links etc.
Here is the url to the old EW Android app APK file. http://www.easywifi.com/get-android
Note I could not get to this page on my phone so I had to download it to my pc and put it on my sd card.

Hi
We took it out of the market temporarily. We are preparing a major update. If you really want the older version you can get it at http://www.easywifi.com/get-android
Update.
I tried three times to get this app to set up on my Triumph. Unfortunately it would never go. Maybe someone else will have better luck.
I did get it to go the first time on the Optimus V. I have yet to try it to see if it will allow me access to any of the other wifi hot spots, but will post on it later.
If anyone else gets this installed and tested please post as well.
Update.
Took the Optimus V to work today to see if I could find any EW hotspots. Found a few around town, but not as many as I thought I might find and not nearly as many as there are near home. However of the HSs that I found EW logged me in to each one automatically and I was able to access the Android Market and make calls over wifi only. This phone has no cellular service so any calls made mist be over wifi.
In short. EW is and does exactly what it reports being and is something that RW customers could look into and use to keep their cellular usage down.
