Okay, I grabbed images of the Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S II for comparison. Mystery phone has a "hump" across the top just like the Nexus...but that doesn't mean that Samsung hasn't made a different shaped GSII for US Cellular.

Nice comparison. My only argument would be is that US Cellular generally gets a version of the phone that looks identical to one on another carrier, in the case of phones with tons of different versions. The Mesmerize was practically the same as Verizon's version of the Galaxy S, for example. So far we haven't seen an SGS II that looks like the mystery phone, and I can't imagine Samsung making a whole new version just for US Cellular. But who knows. Other options would be that in the leaked photo they just mean to show a generic picture of a 4G phone and they never actually planned on getting the Galaxy Nexus, or maybe they planned on the Nexus and it fell through.
Another mystery, Verizon is spending big bucks advertising that the Nexus is ONLY available at Verizon. They must have an exclusivity contract with Samsung for some period of time. After we stop seeing those "only available" commercials, perhaps USCellular will get the Nexus, if at all?
I doubt we will get the Nexus, and my reasoning is that they are pushing Your Mobile Navigator on all of their smart phones to justify the raising of the $25 to $30 data fees. By Google's rules, it's my understanding that USCC can't put YMN on it. In which case they would be hard pressed to justify the extra $5 data charge.

That's no longer true. Verizon has their own software pre-loaded on the G-Nex, so it's entirely possible USCC would get the same treatment.
My bets are that when Verizon loses its exclusivity, we are all getting the nexus!
Now the dilemma get an Electrify or wait for the phantom Nexus.
Decisions, decisions.
