If that's the case we may still be getting the galaxy nexus as one of the LTE phones. I may end up getting the GSII if its the sprint version even though I'm in the initial LTE rollout area. Mostly because the battery life on Android phones is garbage to begin with. Tack onto that the even worse battery life with LTE phones. And I don't want to carry a car battery around with me to make it through a day.

Probably has more to do with the vanilla S2's Exynos chipset not working with LTE.

I talked with our Corporate rep. He confirmed the Galaxy II is due in the stores in March. He's been told it WILL NOT be LTE compatible. They are supposed to come out with a couple of LTE phones sometime in the 2nd quarter.

So that means since it's due in march it'll be available in June or so?

I don't own a mesmerize, but of the 10 people I know 1 has had serious issues, 1 has minor issues and the rest no problems.

After a little tinkering, the Mez was one of the best phones I've had.

I have heard that they are looking to launch the GSII before March, basically so they have something better to replace the Mesmerize since its EOL.

I really hope that somehow we can get the Nexus for our "phantom LTE phone." No one that I have talked to will give me the make of the phone, but I was able to squeeze out a little information about it. It will be coming with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
    I remember my first beer.
