    the free phone offer was for existing customers and it was from dec 26th-31st. all stores were doing this.

    I can verify that this is true. I recieved a letter in the mail stipulating the same thing just before the holidays. Got my freind a brand new cell, he got a free month (me too) with no activation fees at all. Another little trick you guys might want to try out ( worked for me and I have almost 1 1/2 yrs completely paid of the "Talk, Txt Plus Data plan at 45$" , and I'm still getting even more free months every week.
    Just walk into the PM branch and ask the agent for a few pads of the "Referral coupons". Spend 1 night filling them all out with your info and hand them out to all your friends. I went 1 step further and posted links to all my Facebook friends with a link where they can download a coupon. BTW, it helps if you categorize your FB friends into groups ; ie "cheap bastards" hehe. Those cheap friends of yours that your always complaining about can finally cash in on amazing Cellular rates, and at the same time.... so do you...
