Case Help for Black iPhone 4S

I hear the Otterbox Defender series is the best case to get for the Iphone4s.. I see them at Wal-Mart stores for $44 however Amazon lists them cheaper.. Anybody order off Amazon? Would you recommened something else than an Otterbox one?

I order mine directly from Amazon. If you look on the page with the description you will see something similar to "ships/sold from:___". I like my defender case. I felt better ordering directly from them plus in order my wife one at the same time and got free shipping. I got a smaller shell type case for Christmas and have been using it but I dropped my phone today at work(in the cockpit of a plane) and freaked out. Luckily the only damage is a VERY minor dint on the bottom of the phone, no screen damage. Needlessly to say, as soon as I get home my defender is going back on.

The thing with the defender is that is BIG. It adds a lot of bulk to the phone but protects it. I would definetly recommend the case though. If you want something smaller look at the Commuter Series. It still does a nice job of protecting the phone without the bulk. I'm thinking at looking at one of these myself for a smaller option to the defender.
I have also had good service with otterbox. My first case cracked in one corner, don't know how, I called otterbox and they said to take a picture of the damage with my name and contact info visible in the picture(i just wrote it on a piece of paper) and emailed it to them and they sent a new one to me. No questions on where I bought it from.

Since the Defender comes with a screen protector would you recommend using an additional one? Someone told me that with the defender that dust and small particles of dirt can get in between the protector and the glass and scratch it over time. I was thinking of adding the Zagg shield to the phone and the put on the defender.

I don't know how the screen would respond with 2 screen protectors. Dirt and dust does get under the screen protector but it's not that big of an issue to me. I have heard of people taking the installed protector off and using a different one.

The Zagg is a nice screen protector but it hurts the clarity of the screen. It makes the screen look really pixelated. Just something to be aware of
