    HTC Evo 3D: Helpful apps

I thought I would post a thread like this for newcomers to the HTC Evo 3D
I wanted to post up some nice free starter apps to really get you going

-Total Equipment Protection app: This app basically "protects" your phone. One of the great things about it is, if you left it at the restaurant, or even misplaced it in your house, you'd be able to find it. You can track it, or sound an alarm that lasts for three entire minutes, even if your phone is on silent, on sprint.com/protection

    - Super tool box 10+ app: You can manage a lot of things from this app, like app storage, battery, etc. It is very handy

    - Netflix: This app is very great if you have a Netflix account because you can watch most any available movie on-demand It's much easier than going to the redbox up the street

    - GPS Tracking app by Life360: This app is absolutely amazing!!! You can track your family members, send them alerts if you're in trouble (It calls, texts, and emails them all at the same time that you're in trouble at the touch of a button ) You can enable the 'Family Map' to show Fire departments, police departments, and even registered sex offenders, along with their address, and characteristics!.

Feel free to add apps, tips, etc

According to me, one should have app like pulse, google voice, picplZ, Google maps, Instagram, mashable and pinterest. This apps are one of the coolest app you will ever encounter. They are so simple to use and can be easily organize.

ES File Explorer is a definite must have. It's like Windows explorer for your phone. Also I would suggest Sandisk Memory Zone if you have cloud storage. It supports Skydrive among others. If you don't have Netflicks, I recommend Crackle. It's free, just watch the commercials. AVG is a great AntiVirus program with phone finding abilities as well. For video playback, I have a few but I keep going back to MX video player. It played those pesky .svi videos my old Samsung P2 converted. HowardForums obviously. I had Pulse but it got replaced by Google Currents and later Flipboard. Flipboard is my go to app right now. Finally for those who are stuck on 2.3 or lower (myself included for now) I suggest Circle Launcher the paid version. It is a widget that is an alternative to the built-in folders. You can choose to have them displayed horizontally, vertically, or circular. I advise getting the paid app because it allows you to use any .gif or .jpg as a custom button provided the file is small enough. I am using Mega Man X and Marvel vs Capcom sprites right now. It won't animate it, but having Hulk or Storm Eagle stare you down adds another level of customization to your phone. I have more, but I think I should give someone else a turn.
