Unfortunately I can't test my speeds anymore because I burned through my 6GB for the month of constant speed tests for the whole month. I will not allow Rogers to charge me a dime more so I have to wait a few more days to test speeds.
6GB of speed tests?!?
Each test can't be more than 50KB and you said there is still a few days left in your bill cycle so...
You did 125,000 speed tests
Thats 5,000 per day
Thats 200 per hour
Thats 3.5 per minute every single minute of every single day non-stop for 25 days straight!
Wow thats a lot of speed tests

Its actually abt 20.3MB which equals less than 300 tests a month.
Easily done when trying to figure out wtf is wrong with your phone for weeks
148MB just today with speedtests.net tests. Iwasnt heavily testing either
Sent from my SGH-I727R using HowardForums
20,000,000+ Bytes for 1 speed test?! Where did you get that info? Is that for the full desktop version or the speedtest app?
If that figure is correct that is still 11.2 speedtests per day, everyday. High but possible. But only if each test really is 2,030KB which seems ridiculously high.

If you switch off your phone it will be fast for a while and run like a few tests until it slows down, yes you can burn through 6GB and I have been testing my speeds everyday for the past month. Anyway I don't really know why you are analzying how many tests it would take to burn through 6GB. Why would I lie about using 6GB ?? If you have the the same problems as we have been, you would know it does burn through your data, so I'm not sure why you are even commenting on this thread if you have nothing constructive to say.

Don't get annoyed it was just a joke. I am sure you didn't mean that you used your whole 6GB on speedtests but is came across that way and I thought it was mildly amusing to see how much that would actually be.
I know you don't actually do 3.5 speedtests every single minute of every single day
So anyone having weird voice issues?? Like the person on the other end keeps hearing your voice go up and down in volume and muffled?? I wonder if it is just me

Will know about speeds tomorrow.
on both of our sgs2lte phones, we havent noticed any call quality issues like you have been having.
So I did two speed tests today. One on HSPA+ and one on LTE
Finally, HSPA+ data speeds are back to normal...I'm hitting around 7-10Mbps while LTE has been back to normal for a couple of weekend now hitting 17-36 Mbps
I'm not sure if this have been addressed, but are there any dead spots for the LTE network in Vancouver? I live in East Vancouver and I spend most of my time in Vancouver and Burnaby. I would occasionally go to Richmond and rarely go to North Vancouver.
Can someone also confirm whether there is LTE coverage at UBC?
