did you ennable it in the Language & Keyboard Settings? I tried SwiftKey myself and i had to enable it in the setting to get it to work.

The in phone User Guide refers to a DeskHome application. (In the "Tools" section.)
How do I access that?

What resister value do I need to supply between pins 4 and 5 of the Micro USB to make the LG Spectrum think it is docked (so I can use the DeskHome application)?
