Transferring paid apps to a new phone?

Is there an easy way to transfer apps from an old phone to a new one? I have a number of paid apps (especially Gravity and ActiveSync) that I'd like to transfer to a new phone. Is this possible or am I required to purchase them again from Ovi?

    Thanks in advance!

When you log into the nokia store you can simply log in wiht your existing account and download all of your paid apps for free. You can download each paid app a total of 10 times with your account.

That may be, but Nokia turned off the downloads of a couple of my paid apps after only one or two downloads.
They need to get this fixed, it just not competitive with the other platforms.

I've only seen that in apps that were once free but turn to payed versions later... most often this happens to themes.

Officially, you can download any paid app 10 times. Before it was 5.

Not this time, Picsel Smart Office, downloaded twice. Now they want me to pay again. I don't think so.

5 or 10, still wrong and non-competitive. The WP7 buyers are going to revolt when they get cut off from a paid app. They are already used to a better deal than that.

This is a good reason to alway buy apps directly from the developer, re-installs or moving a program to a different device is no problem in most cases.

I once reached the 5 limit download and I complained and I got another download. Like A7 said, it has now changed to 10. I would complain and at least they will give you an explanation.
