That's how I got started with pageplusdirect.com. I would NEVER pay a fee to get a discount, but buying an extra large first order with an 8% discount, in order to get an 8% discount on all future orders, no matter how small, for as long as they stay in business, was VERY appealing! pageplusdirect.com has a very good deal going, and has been doing it this way for several years that I'm aware of. Hopefully they'll be around for a long time to come!

With the frequent 5% Callingmart coupons, 1% bonus, and 2% rebate credit card, you can get roughly 8% discount without commiting a large order.
Fidelity Amex is one example, and there are others. Go to the finance forum on www.fatwallet.com for credit card discussions.
That isn't like a regular cash back credit card. If I read it correctly, it requires the 2% to be deposited into a Fidelity brokerage account. On top of that, as you alluded to, it isn't a full 8% discount off of the PIN face value when % offs are "stacked" up to 8% as you describe. But it is certainly an alternative to get discounted PINS. I just prefer to get the full 8% off of the full face value of the PIN up front without paying a fee or waiting to get a credit on my next purchase or for a credit card rebate.
I just got an email from Refill-Now:
They seem to have the best prices. Definitely worth checking into.We have now resumed our sales of Page Plus PIN's. You can access our website at: https://refill-now.com
Hmmm...I wonder why the ad they have running on HoFo indicates "Save up to 4.9%"? Is the current pricing (above) only temporary?![]()
hmmmm....I'm surprised to hear that. The fella that owned that site, and still appears to own it, was a fairly well respected and active member of this forum. Just seems a bit odd. I'm curious to see how this shakes out. I know it was a while back - at least I think I recall this correctly - when that site stopped selling PIN's due to getting burned by credit card fraud. I was surprised to see it come back. Please keep us updated.
I recently tested the "don't mention a PP Dealer by name" rule here on PP Hofo......trust me, it is still in effect - got me a 7 day ban.
