I'm using a Dell Streak 7 with a 10 cents a minute gophone sim that has a 500mb data package purchased. I'd like to upgrade to a larger tablet. I assume the Ipad only works on the official plans. Does anybody have experience with any other 9-10" tablets that will work with this type prepaid data plan? Thanks

Why not use AT&T's official tablet plan. It's a better deal (2 GB for $25) than the GoPhone data feature pack and it's supposed to works with the iPad and Android tablets.

I happen to have a gophone sim with a big balance that I want to use up. Anyway for me paying $25 for the first month then $5 per month to roll the data over is a better deal. I usually use wifi.
My streak was T-Mobile branded. I used my t-mo prepaid account to call and get it unlocked. It worked right away with the AT&T gophone sim, no change to any settings needed. I'm just not happy with the short battery life and small screen. I'm still hoping to hear of any success with other tablets. Thanks
