double data or wait for razr maxx

looking for some input...I'm about to get my first smartphone and was thinking of the razr. Now with the maxx about to drop I'm not sure if I should jump on the double data and current razr or wait for the maxx and end up with the 2gb. Is 2 gb a lot of data on a phone? I don't plan on watching movies on either one. Let me know what you're thinkin'.

For most users, 2GB is plenty. I use WiFi when I am home which is a lot faster than 3G (central NJ). When I am work, I leave it on 3G for better battery life and very seldom turn on 4G unless it's a big download and I am not connected to WiFi. I use .5 to .75 GB a month on an unlimited plan and I use it for web surfing, lots of email, and facebook.
