If anyone chooses to use this version, I would advise them to deny, and then check permissions. There should be none except network/ internet. Failing that, use the mobile version of the site.
If it makes you feel any better, I personally created that tinyurl out of the address that TD accesses from its iPhone app, and you can see that the address it redirects to is at tdgroup.com which is a domain owned by TD. That was before TD launched the /mobile shortcut - thanks for the update.
If you all are worried about security ( as I presume the responses are pointing to this)! Go to the canada trust website and access the "mobile" page! Where it lists the features for ios, android and blackberry, hit the blackberry tab! Down below will list the link for the app! That's where I copied the link!
I've installed it on my bb9900 and the app works fine!
Internet security, especially on bank sites is always a concern, or should be. These days, people need to be a bit paranoid, as SQL injections are very common. Fake sites abound.
I'd hate to see my account drained because I was lax, and lazy over the 'convenience'.
I posted this info because i thought HOFO members would want to know but then I realize people may take it a certain way expecially with all the banking sites being spoofed.
I upgraded to the 9900 from the torch 9800 so os6 to os7. Frankly, the banking apps is what i use the most besides the obvious like twiiter, facebook, etc.
Are you sure its not working? I wasn't able to get it at first, but then I was able to get it downloaded from this site:
try www.td.com/blackberryapp/download

Its working with TD's web link but its not accessible in bb app world for os 7 devices.
I just find directly logging in through the internet browser at my TD Easyweb bookmarks the safest and easiest route. With the 9900 the browser is much improved over older phones.
