I prefer HP but have used almost every kind and have had no problems with any Toshiba, Acer, Lenovo, Compaq etc. The only laptops I do not like and would never buy again are Dell. I would love to try a Sony they have always caught my attention but never seem to be the right price!
I would say this completely depends... if you a gamer you will need antother laptop than someone using it primarily for business purposes

I'm on my third laptop, and it's by far the best I've owned yet (for my needs). I got the Dell XPS13 Ultrabook. It's thin like the Macbook Air. It's got a solid state drive, so it's very quiet and boots in seconds. It's got a nice brushed aluminum top, and a carbon fiber bottom. The battery lasts up to 8 hours which is awesome for me.
Apple makes the best computers and laptops in my opinion.
Hi,
My favorite is Apple!!!
i currently am using toshiba but i am very satisfied with it and shall stick with it when this one conks out on me
i think it depends on how much money you want to spend. Kindly go for some of the required factors by jotting down on your notepad, then sort out what is most important to you.

I'd totally recommend it. Only drawbacks are the lack of DVD drive, and only 2 USB ports. Other than that it's amazing. It's so portable that I never hesitate to take it with me. It performs great for my basic needs too.
I wouldn't recommend compaq.... Lenovo or Sony would probably by my choice.
