Hey Logical, Missed ya buddy, decided to give you and your forum some love...
Nobody can seem to get the SPC on the Motorola Photon. Here is the technique to get it so that flashing it is as easy as the droid x2!
Download and install Radio Com 11.6.2
Download drivers for Photon.
Both of these are easy to get, I do not need to show you where to get them.
connect your photon to your computer and select "motorola phone portal".
Unplug the Photon and pull the battery. put the battery back in and plug the photon into the computer.
the Photon should automagically reboot if not power it on while its plugged in.
once the phone has booted open hw serial port and connect to the photon with the exact same settings as the droid.
Open radio com.
Under main, select cdma1x and select qsc 60x5 chipset.
select the p2k1 tab radio detection should change from red to magenta.

Now Click "RDELEM"
Under Data Hex Only, a string of numbers will appear.
after each 3 is the sequential digit of the spc.
example
340003587638987321453245630001
spc is 458220
get it got it good.
