EDIT: Ok succesfully installed the Custom rom~
Ok the question is now.. how to I get back all my previous apps and stuff?
I followed the guide and made a backup before installing the custom rom already ..

Edit: Nevermind~ I decided to go for a clean install heh..

Edit: Everything is working and the phone is super fast now

Installed Go Launcher Ex along with it

Loving the black colored buttons~

Got google market to work too

Left about 30+ mb internal now..

How on earth does Sharp think people will survive with a meagre 100mb internal is beyond me =__=

Not sure about overclocking, but remember this phone was made for Tapas and 100MB would be fine. I have an 8GB microSD card which i store all my apps and photos on - the phone works a charm. It's not so fast, but i dont need it to be

You have 100mb?
After I rooted and used the custom rom by xdajunkman, and also installed gapps.. I had very little internal memory left.. so right now i've moved all apps to sd card.. but they still use a little bit of the internal memory..

20mb Internal left.. Can't install games that need to download data, as they download to internal ~_~ so annoying..

Recently download move2SD enabler, it had an option of selecting default installation "external" or internal.. I've tried.. it still uses a tiny bit of internal .. :/

You need link2sd to take advantage of the partition.

I have a 2 or 3GB (I forget) ext3 partition on my microSD, which is where the app "link2SD" now stores all my apps. I am not sure where the phone itself thinks the apps are (I haven't checked), but I know I have lots of internal memory free, and some apps with content of around 500MB. Link2SD simple moves the app and then creates a link so the phone knows where to find it

Hi guys~ Yup I do have link2SD, that's how I've been moving all the apps..
I've tried installing "iFighter" but then it requires additional data to be downloaded.. and that goes straight into the puny internal memory :|

I enter Link2SD, and then I select the "move to SD" function..

Should I be selecting create link ?

Oh dear how silly of me =_= I've been selecting "move to sd" all this while instead of selecting create link :|

Seems like I have to move the apps back to internal before being able to "create link" :|
Arghh.. this isn't quite possible seeing I have 20mb or less internal memory left now haha

EDIT: Not sure why, but sometimes clicking on the "create link" uses internal memory for some reason @__@"

Hi guys, any idea how to enable livewallpapers using xdajunkman's custom rom?

I found some intructions

" You can install these a number of different ways. Forget all that and let's make it easy! You must have root to do this.

1) Download file and rename to LiveWallpapers.apk
2) Place in root of SD card.
3) Open Root Explorer and go to SD card, then long press file (LiveWallpapers.apk) and select copy.
4) Back up and go to the System folder, then Apps.
5) Hit the big button on top to mount as Mount as R/W.
6) Press paste, it will ask you to overwrite file, press yes.
7) After this is done select the LiveWallpapers.apk and long press to bring up permissions. Change permissions to User- Read and Write, Group- Read, Others-Read then OK. Hit the big button on top to mount as R/O again!
8) Reboot and then long press the screen, bring up live wallpapers, then select Nexus, then enjoy! "

Using ES File Explorer, this method worked I copied the livewallper.apk and livewallpaper.apk from the "SH7218u_stock.zip"

what is the best input method for this phone? (not virtual button)

when i use sogou input:
i need to press button 3 times to type '.'(dot) symbol
and when i hold the button to type number, the output is doubled (eg: 11,22,33)
it's very annoying.

when i use android keyboard:
i need to press button 3 times to type ' '(space) symbol
can't hold button to type number.

does anyone know a better input method which can type space symbol by pressing '0' button once, and type dot symbol by pressing '1' button once. (just like old phone)
nb: i'm using abc input not pinyin

This is exactly the question I have come on here looking for. I have just got a SH7128U flip and the fact that I have to press 1 and 0 three times each to get the most popular symbols full stop and space is driving me crazy.

Is there a way to change the order of the symbols? There must be a way to hack the software and change it?

There is a way to hack the software to do it, and i know that tokyo_dom is working on such a mod, but it could take years. You could learn to program and do it yourself
