Question Help changing my sprint evo to metro pcs

Ok was talked into buying an htc evo saying I could get it flashed to metro pcs, but there are no reputable places in my area.

Anyone know what I could do or where to go?

I live in the treasure coast of fl.

Unfortunately, the only thing I found was a remote flashing on line fo $125 and I just paid $200 for the phone and don't have that much to pay. I would like someone to flash for around $50.

Otherwise I have to sell the phone and just get a metro android phone but they have bad reviews.

    Any help appreciated.

We flash Evos and $100 is pretty much the standard rate out here. You might be able to find someone cheaper but make sure that they guarantee everything will work- talk, text, internet, pix and video messaging. A lot of the flashers out here skip on some of the features even though they charge as much as or more than us...

FWIW I have the LG Esteem LTE from Metro on one of my accounts and while I get up to 1.2 megs U/L and D/L as opposed to .3 with my flashed Evo I am really unimpressed with the LG altogether. Constant rebooting and battery life is even worse than my Evo. After I rooted it and froze all of the Metro bloatware it became slightly less annoying but will never match the quality of my Evo.

Edit: Didn't realize that you dropped $200 on the phone already. We sell them already flashed for about that much. Can you return it?

You're better off just selling it, buying an evo with a bad esn off of craigslist for a hell of a lot cheaper, and flash that one to metro. $100 seems kinds of steep but if everything is gonna work, then its worth it.

Just an idea, but if you sell the evo, you should buy a newer phone.with a bad esn like an evo 3d or Samsung galaxy s 2. Both in the $200 price range with bad esn.
