"He" is actually a "she". Right now it works... Even when I think, it (the new battery) still loses too much power. Hm. I'll wait a few days for the final result.

    Ah sorry about that :P
Try this, full charge the phone and don't use it and leave it in standby. How long does it last? if it doesn't last for at least a few days (hell even a week +) then something is very wrong

Okay, I'll try it over the weekend now and will write the result then
Sometimes I just have the feeling that it searches for reception over the night cause sometimes when I charge it full in the evening it has around 85% in the morning. That's a little bit odd, I think... A few months ago it only lost around 5% over night when I charged it full the day before.

Well, the phone doesn't run off mains power, so when it is fully charged, it stops charging and then the battery will deplete. 5% is quite a lot though...

5% was never that much for me so I didn't worry about it, but since it lost around 15% over night I'm pretty confused about it. :/

So, just for your information I waited a few days and the new charger I use now have the same problem as the old one before I reset the settings... It lose around 20% over -night- which could be impossible since it's in stand-by then/I don't do anything at night with it. What could it be? Is it now a product problem?

All electronics that has a huge circuit board usually has a transistor (varies in size - some with 4 legs and some with 8 legs) that controls the power coming in from the wall adapter and it allows power to flow into the battery and also allows regulation of power draining from that battery to power the product.

If there's someone wrong with the regulator then you may notice the unit not charge properly or disperse power too fast.

It's just a hunch..... it may not even be that but electronics generally work similarly on a PCB board so I was just suggesting that but I could be completely wrong altogether
