Unlimited Data Plan - Will BBM Work?

Hey guys, I've been a Rogers customer forever and I never had to purchase a BBM specific plan separately ever so when someone offered to sell me their mobilicty plan which included unlimited data and calling at a 17.50 a mth rate I jumped on it pretty quick.

I started looking around and I see a lot of people mentioning the Blackberry specific plan for mobilicity. Does this mean that the regular unlimited data does not allow for bbm usage and you need to purchase a separate add-on just for bbm?

Any idea if Mobilicity will allow me to edit my plan without losing the 50% off promotion.

BBM is an extra $5 if you alraedy have a data plan, you can add it without affecting your 50%.

Even on Rogers you have to have a BBM plan in order for bbm to work, if you get an iPhone/android/windows/dumb phone data plan on Rogers your bbm will not work. So in your case when you got the plan your Data Plan on Rogers must have been a Blackberry data plan & that is why your bbm was working.
