    They owe me money.

Okay so you know how the price raised to 35$? well i was locked in on the 25$ plan but i thought i had to pay 35$ so what happened is i payed the 35$ for a few months than my brother finally told me that i can still get the 25$ plan so the past couple months ive been paying 25$ but what i dont get is why it charged 35$ if im locked in at 25.. shouldnt the extra 10$ be added to my balance for everytime i overpayed? i called customer service and they said they cant refund me because they only have a 60 day record or some ******** so they cant tell that i overpayed.. they refunded me 10$ for the month that i overpayed that was in the records but shouldnt they have more than 60 day records? thats just dumb that they dont.. oh and another thing is they have the worst customer service.. i had to say things like 5 times before they understood me.. well is there anyway i can get my money back? because they owe me at least 30$. and im tight on cash so i really need it.. they could at least put the money they owe me to another month..

Thread moved to the Virgin Mobile section, where i'm guessing you meant to post it.

Not enough detail here for us to help you. The answers to these few questions would help determine if you have a case.

What month and year did you sign up for the $25 Beyond Talk plan?

Did you ever change your plan after signing up for the $25 plan? If so, when did you change and to what plan?

Did you pay your $25 every month since you signed up for it?

If not, exactly when did you stop paying and restart?

The #1 RULE to remember when dealing with ANY Companies Customer Service Department is:
If at first you do not get the solution that you want, kindly, gently, hang up the phone and CALL AGAIN.

A free months service is given out for legitimate customer complaints by most carriers. Every major carrier will do it, if you provide them a legitimate reason. You being on a current budget shortfall is not a legitimate reason to them. However, your being overcharged and their acknowledging your complaint is reason enough to request that they provide you a courtesy month of service for the mistake.

The problem with your complaint as posted on here is that it is not factual.

If you were on the BT/$25 plan, your additional Top-Up funds would still be on your account.

    THIS!

You cannot overpay for your plan. Any extra funds will sit in your account indefinitely. There is definitely something going on here that has not been explained by the OP.

Correct, and on top of that VM USA is actually pretty generous and has a 90 day grace period (60 days from plan expiration) to let your service go unpaid and retain the grandfathered plans.

This part makes no sense. Existing accounts were grandfathered. I'm still paying $25/month. Think hard now... did anything else change about your account to make you pay the higher amount?

If nothing changed, then the amount shouldn't have changed on the account.

When you state that you payed, is that what you added to your account?

then you "got the 25$ plan back" .... did they do that for you???? or did you switch it yourself?

Which phone are you using? BlackBerry??, Android?? others???

Did you pay with a card?? or on a website ??? or with cash????

Maybe you had overages and the funds were used?

Or perhaps you forgot to pay for a month or two and the funds were used?

Are you still on the $25 plan?

Its is this case and there is absolutely 100% something else going on that you aren't aware of or haven't mentioned. Others have already suggested likely places where the money might have gone. In any case, I await the explanation of what happened because that money didn't just vanish into thin air.

Churner it does make sense.. because i thought i had to pay 35$ thats why i was paying 35$ i didnt know i could pay 25$ the whole time until my brother told me my account was grandfathered what im trying to find out is what happened to that money! it should be sitting in my account yes, i know you dont have to tell me.. thats why i posted this in the first place to find out what happened to my money and get some tips. vmobi i mean i got 10$ back from a month already because payed 35$ it was supposed to be 25$ but ive overpayed at least 5 times so they owe me more than 10$ also i got the lg optimus v and i payed with credit cards. QE2 i am not saying it vanished? i am saying THEY overcharged me! they charged me for the 35$ plan not the 25$ plan.. but i had to call customer service to get the 25$ plan back. ill tell you how it goes after this investigation thing that they are doing with technichal support.. i have to call them tuesday. and sorry if this paragraph has bad spelling etc. cause i wrote this really fast cause i gotta go lol.
