I'm currently bricked and the phone won't stop booting in to RSD mode. I tried installing a custom rom and failed. I tried flashing the stock SBF back on the phone and no luck their either. I'm currently stuck with a battery that is too low to flash/charge. I'm thinking I won't be able to find a solution. I'm going to continue looking for a fix but assuming I don't find one, does anyone know my options with a replacement?
I'm on a belief plan and I use an agent store in my area. Is there a possible way to avoid insurance and get a replacement in store...for free? I was thinking of using the fact that I just recently update to the 2.3.5 and after boot it brought me back to this screen. Any response at this point is appreciated in advance.
*edit* I got to this point attempting to flash the new Rocko rom with the bootstrap recovery. I was able to get to recovery and load the rom but my computer had the .zip file corrupted! I was dumb enough not to check the contents of the file first, which would've easily showed me there was nothing in it. Once I got to this point I could not get back in to the recovery mode. I tried flashing stock through RSD and no luck their either.
I don't have a clue about the electrify, but would having a charged battery make a difference? If so, you could try getting a charged battery from a USCC store.
Good luck, however, getting someone on here to help you try to scam a USCC store for a new phone

As for filing an insurance claim, I know of a few people who have smashed theirs phones because of unknown reasons. They filed a claim and the insurance folks wanted the old phone. Said phone smashers just told them their phone fell in a lake and went bye, bye. New phone arrived within 24hr. You pay for the insurance, you should be able to use it anyway you like.

If you're on the belief plan I think you can replace a lost phone for $100. Still confused as to why they wanted to sell me insurance anyway. Again, there's the fraud thing to think about, but $100 for a replacement phone isn't bad.
