Suggestions on a Bluetooth Headset for Working on Phone All Day

I currently work from home as a technical consultant. I'm on the phone anywhere from 5-8 hours a day (with breaks in between of course). I've been using the included earbuds/microphone wired headset that came with my Blackberry Bold for almost two years. I decided that I finally want to go wireless. I recently picked up a Zelher P20 which has great battery life and amazing clarity, however, the thing hurts my head after about 15 minutes of use! So, back to the drawing board. I could use some suggestions on what to research further.

Requirements in order of greatest importance:
    • Comfort - I will be wearing this all day
    • Call clarity - if my clients can't hear me then it's a moot point
    • Noise cancellation - I work in a quiet home office, but occasionally my dog barks or the neighbor is mowing the lawn

I was looking around and I don't really need to stream audio to it when I'm not on the call. However, I would like the device to work with a Blackberry (work), an Android (personal), and possibly a PC (Skype, Soft-IP phone, etc). Also, I doubt I would use it in the car, but if it were portable enough I would consider it.

I was considering the Motorola Oasis (comfort, but not sure of sound the client hears); the Voyager Pro (how comfortable is it?); and now even the Motorola Elite Silver (can't find much about comfort or clarity).

Is there anyone in a similar situation that has found something they LOVE and can share details with me? I really appreciate you taking the time.

Blue Parrot will fit the bill:
    1. Over the head, boom mike.
    2. I wear mine 14-16 hours. No prob.
    3. Crystal clear.
    4. Noise cancellation. I drive a big truck. I got because a fellow driver sounded as if he were in his living room.
    5. It can not eliminate wind noise.

I can back up the suggestion for the Plantronics Voyager Pro series. They fit over your ear, and distribute the weight over a large area, so despite their size and weight, they're among the *most* comfortable for long term wear.

I use one daily, and it's an amazing device. Sounds very natural, both incoming and outgoing, too.

Plantronics Pro HD without a doubt. I have owned the Pro, Pro + and now the HD and it rules supreme paired with the 4S!!

If you don't need a2dp my cbth8 from cobra electronics is great. Great noise cancellation. Comfortable to wear for hours

I have not tried the Zelher, Blue Parrot, or Cobra, but I have the Plantronics Pro HD, Samsung HM7000, Jawbone Era, and the Bose BT2.

Of these, the Bose is by far the most comfortable - actually of any headset I've tried. I briefly had the Oasis and wasn't impressed with it's build quality or noise canceling. I can wear the Bose BT2 for a two hour conference call and it doesn't hurt at all. The noise canceling is not as good as the others I mentioned, but it is close and both incoming and outgoing audio are very natural sounding.

I also work from a relatively quiet home office. The types of noise spikes, such as a dog barking near you, will not be instantly cancelled by any headset, excluding a true bone conduction headset like the Moto Finiti (but they are not comfortable). General background noise is easily cancelled by any of the headsets I own including the relatively consistent sound of a neighbor's lawn mower.

I'd recommend trying the Bose, they have a no hassle 30 day return policy. I swapped my R ear model for a L ear model with no issues at all.

I will throw the Blue Parrot Xpress (not the older Xpressway) into the mix. Phone calls are the main part of my job and I have to be able to talk to clients in my house (with 4 kids and 2 dogs), in the car, on the street, and in the office.

The noise canceling is very good and adding an ear tip I had from another headset the comfort is great. I have been wearing it 5-7 hours a day since receiving.

But I have to imagine the incoming sound on the Bose is the best given their quality
