GMail Exchange/Google Sync Now Supports Delete

I'm a few days late posting this, but I didn't see a thread here for this so I just thought I'd let people know that Google quietly rolled out this feature a few days back. Like the title says, you can now delete e-mails from your GMail Exchange account on your iPhone, rather than archive. You'll need to go to the Google Sync's mobile site on your iOS browser and change a setting. It's all explained here:

Thank you for posting this. I have configured my iPhone and iPad and they work great. Always hated having to go to my Archive and clean out the trash from both devices.

I wasn't even aware gmail was doing this. Where do I find the Archive for gmail? I don't see it as a folder on my iPhone.

ah this is good to know, as my company will be moving from its own web hosted email over to gmail.

When an e-mail is archived, it's deleted from the inbox but remains in the "All Mail" folder.
