I have a Galaxy S 4G (SGH-T959V) that is running Froyo and works fine including WIFI tethering out of the box (I'm on prepaid $30 plan). I understand an update to Gingerbread is now available. I wonder if T-Mobile has included their "tethering manager" in the release that would preclude WIFI tethering? If so, I'll just stick with Froyo.
