Pardon me if this has been noted, but with the new MetroPCS website re-design the $40 LTE plan has been dropped and there's a new $45 "3G" plan added.
Makes sense to drop the $40 LTE plan. There won't be any more arguments about why someone can't be on the $40 LTE with something like the LG Esteem. The only phone that ever qualified was the non-Android LTE Samsung Craft. I think originally Metro thought there would be more "feature" phones like the Craft that had LTE chips, whereas right now it's just Androids that are coming out with LTE.

I noticed that they talk about a 3g plan however the map does not reflect 3g coverage oh wait 3g is everywhere their markets are I guess they determined no lte phone will get 3g but hey I still get 1x in parts of Florida.

Keep in mind they now said they have plans of spreading 3g in all markets so until all markets are covered im guessing they wont show coverage.
A few months ago insiders said there was going to be a new $55 LTE plan with 4GB data, to bridge the gap between the $50 plan and the $60 unlimited plan. Guess Metro decided not to do that?
I downgraded from the $60 LTE plan to the $50 LTE plan and am happy with that.

yea me too i was paying for two lines almost $100 but i switched my android phone to the $50 and im down to $85
i pay the 60 aka 55 with the fam plan just so i don't have to worry about it. i would love to save 10 a month and all, but i don't have time to worry about whether i'm using the 1GB of whatever they actually track. i know you've shown proof of your "non use" chazz, which i love that you did, and has made me consider switching, but i'm really not that worried about it. i would hate to just reach my limit and have to waste time upgrading my plan, etc...

Trust me you'll never reach your limit cuz what metro considers data bandwidth isnt our definition now with that being said ive been using the crap out of pandora youtube and downloading ringtones and wallpapers from zedge like theres no 2morrow and check my data usage. LOL epic
