I am assuming you don't get a reminder and have recorded something in my calendar so I don't lose any remaining balance.
You should get a text reminder from PP before the expiration date. But it wouldn't hurt to have backup reminders in place - whatever it takes.
I recently tested the "don't mention a PP Dealer by name" rule here on PP Hofo......trust me, it is still in effect - got me a 7 day ban.

Paygo customers receive a text message when the balance is about to expire. I don't believe that's the case with monthly customers, but I could be wrong here. When in doubt, you can text BAL to 7243 to get your plan balance and expiration date, and the remaining amount of minutes, texts and data left in your monthly plan. The text message you send will be used from your plan, and the account balance text you receive from PP is free.

I'm pretty sure that I have seen the PP reminder text a few times on the TNT1200........I think.

I'm actually using the 12 plan and wondering if I could stack it with an $80 in case I go over on minutes and get those minutes at .04/min--any light on this idea? Thanks!

If you go over on minutes on the 12 plan, they will get charged at that plan's voice overage rate, which is $.10/minute (not the rate of the Standard plan denomination).

I called CallingMart First and was on hold forever and decided to call Page+ Direct. Not too long a wait on hold and the Customer Service Rep changed my expiration date to 10/3/2012.

Also right now you can get 5% Off Pageplus refills on CallingMart.com NOW through 02/02/12. Coupon Code: NY12-5
ok, PPC just did this to me. My online account shows the balance to be good for the full year (till Jan 22, 2013) but a voice prompt on the phone when I made a call said my next payment was due in 108 days. Called customer service who said simply to disregard the voice message but he had no explanation as to why I was given such a voice prompt. Strange.

now I know why I thought you could buy the 80 pin on the PP web site. Its listed with the other standard plans on their web site although it has an asterisk which states its available from authorized PagePlus dealers. Its strange that they advertise this plan but then don't sell it themselves.

Thus the asterisk. The original reason had to do with high fraud on this PIN, though I'm not sure if this would still be the case today, as payment systems have changed since that policy was put into effect. At any rate, the $80 PIN is readily available from dealers and online stores (heck, you may even find a discount out there!).
