Thats bs unless they found a way to take metro's uicc card and make it work on the sprint phone. i say if this been exploited already check youtube and the xda site to make sure.
what they do is clone the wimax of an existing sprint customer its not hard but is illegal.

definitely doesn't sound like something you want to get mixed up in. it's one thing to clone an esn of a device you actually own just so you can get a phone on a network that doesn't want said phone on network, but to use other accounts is another story in my book...

absolutely its not hard to do but when every nickel and dime flasher does it then its something of a pandemic that is going to get out of control.
i'm sure they won't tell the secret. it has to pertain to something illegal in some way. there are some things that are illegal that i truly don't think should be to an extent morally. there are some illegal things that are morally wrong...
I didn't click the link to find out exactly what he was talking about, but since the wimax on sprint devices is provided by sprint / clear I wonder if you could just register the phone with clear as a modem and use the 4g that way.

If the question is can you use a flashed sprint phone on Metro LTE, the answer is NO. Sprint phones don't have the necessary chipsets.
if the question is can you talk on Metro but somehow still use sprint Wimax network for 4G data (being illegally on sprint network), I don't know -- but that sounds like something you might can go to jail for.

Your creed may be interesting, but your deeds are much more convincing.

Sounds like something similar around my area, i gave them a call, and the person told me that he himself has an HTC 4g from sprint, with 4G speeds, on the $40 plan. I was thinking of trying it out, but seems fishy?
