    Ok I drove around town and stuff. Neither towers have been upgraded to 4G I still was only on GPRS and 2G. But I did dive to a 4G area and found that if I walked into stores that were brick I would drop to 2G. So the 2G signal is still stronger then the 4G.

    Had the same issue at a local mall with 4G coverage. Walked around a bit and dropped to edge. Went into a tmobile store in there and the lady couldn't figure out how to get 4G back again.

    Got 4G again once I left the mall.

    I think it's that 4G is not as strong as 2G. And since 4G phones don't have 3G (on T-Mobile) we just drop back to 2G

    3g and 4g on t-mobile is the same network. It won't drop down, it can't.

    True. Im just saying from 4G we go down to 2G.
