Is the MDN and MIN the same thing or a different number? Cause I went in and the mobile number that I put in was mine and the other one was different and I basically changed it to the same number. It still wont activate.

I said IDK, I dont know anything about phones, and she gave me four commands to punch in to activate (*228, *22890, *22800, *22801). I turned it on but no OTA so I did the "*#*#4636#*#*" thing Adam suggested and then reset, but screen still just says "Please wait until your phone has been activated and restarted".

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
I was wondering if you used a new 4g lte sim card or if you just used the one you had?

In Texas it's almost impossible to get a new SIM unless you have an account with THAT provider. Unless you know something I don't know dasyaj. PP activated my 4G LTE phone KNOWING that's what it was. they simply left off the last number for me. I suggest calling them AGAIN ethanb78. It seems different Reps give you different service.

Brand new one, popped it out of the card myself, $5 from Ebay (shipped from Chicago, if you are looking for same merchant).

go in to ##program 1-user activation
Put in your min and mdn
back out and restart phone should work
I called PP and activated the phone again, this time they did not realize it was a 4g, but the phone refused to activate upon startup stating that the sim was unregistered on the network.
I followed your (further detailed) directions and entered in the min and mdn, but it didnt seem to stick. The done button was grayed out and unclickable, and when I backed out nothing happened. Resetting my phone manually didnt help either. The were two other fields in the 1-user activation screen, imsi-11-12 and cdma system id. Perhaps i need to fill these out too for it to stick?
    Thanks!!

What CDMA program did you use? I used CDMA workshop 3.8 demo... I'm not sure if it would work though because I know some things don't write and you have to get the full version to fully write all the things down onto the phone... I might just send my phone to beigecellular or whatever to get it flashed and activated there if I have no other choice.

I thought you had to use CDMA 3.7 or higher for it to work properly? I also have DFS but I dont really understand how to use it... Do you mind telling me the process and how they're similar and different?

Would anyone want to try to answer this? I put the droid bionic into diagnostic mode per adam3rd's instructions at post 57 (partly quoted below), but

    1) where is "device manager," and
    2) what does "backup assistant plus" by Verizon Wireless have to do with it? That appeared on my computer screen after I plugged phone into computer. Do I have to subscribe now as it asks me to do? Is that the device manager or is there another way to find/get device manager"

Thanks a lot for any advice! Adam3rd's post 57 below:

"first you need to insert your 4glte sim card and put your phone in diagnostic mode.
    "1. turn off phone
"2. hold both the volume up and volume down buttons at the same time and press the power button.
"3. volume down to the last entry bptools
"4.phone will power on in diagnostic mode
"5. connect your droid bionic to your computer
"6. open up device manager and look under ports to find out which COM port your bionic is on (qnc diag)"

The device manager is on your computer. to get to it follow these steps.
1- right click on the my computer shortcut on your desktop (or start menu)
    2- click properties
    3- click on device manager

    or go to control panel
    then system and security
    then system
    then device manager.

once you get the device manager open, click on ports. if you are in diag mode, it should show you a port number with the type of phone connected to it.

as far as the backup assistant, just ignore it or close it. I actually right click on it in the task bar and disable it so it doesnt pop up any more when I connect my phone.

This is all assuming you have windows 7. I dont remember vista as its been years since I have even touched it but it should be the same.

Thanks 45 root, I have a Mac and that doesn't work. Can anyone tell me what I can do to make device manager work as it should according to adam3rd's post 57 partly given below?

"first you need to insert your 4glte sim card and put your phone in diagnostic mode.
    "1. turn off phone
"2. hold both the volume up and volume down buttons at the same time and press the power button.

"5. connect your droid bionic to your computer
"6. open up device manager and look under ports to find out which COM port your bionic is on (qnc diag)"

Q1: Am I supposed to select BP tools after I scroll down to it? (One does that by pressing the volume up button)

Q.2 What do I need to do? After I get it into diagnostic mode, a device manager box appears on my screen, containing "Autorun.inf," "config.in_" (after in is f or t I think), motohelper-2.051-driver-5.exe" and "setup.exe" "Setup" and "Motohelper" show 4 buttons. When I press "run" on either I get the message, "An unknown token cannot go after this identifier." Also no ports show as they should re step 6 above. What am I supposed to do?

Q.3. Also, after I connect the droid bionic4gLTE to the mac, I get the message, "The program cannot be run in DOS mode." Can anyone tell me what I am supposed to do?

    Thanks much for any help/suggestions.

I followed all the the steps and page plus said I needed to go into a store because the activation could be done using the programing mode
