    Sharp Sh-01b questions.

I had my sharp sh-01b working for a good 6 months or so but I decided to switch provider. I forgot what I did that the sim card and hypersim worked with the provider I had for the 6 months(t-mobile). I'm switching to at&t. Is it the international prefix I have to change or do i have to do something with the MNC? Assistance is appreciated. Also, I have been reading the stickies about the guides on keitais but they didn't assist me.

What is the problem you are facing? Keitais work better with T-Mobile in the USA as I've heard.

You'll have to change the SMS center number to receive/send SMSes.

Other than that, there shouldn't be any major issues. Signal might be worse depending on your area though.

Okay, thank you. There's another problem I'm having. There is signal and I CPR it. It has five bars/three bars every time it gets started but after it loads its boot it returns to the kanji sign of disconnected. (圈外) What do I still have to do?

its complicated how to get that fixed, I cant describe it, and haven't been able to replicate that problem, maybe change to 3g and back to 2g.

YOu can also try a tmo sim card see if it get signal and then your sim back in.

The sharp sh-01 doesn't recognize the sim card without the hyper sim. That option is not available for me.

Put the tmo sim with the hypersim into the phone and see if you can get signal.

That works, like I said I had the phone working perfectly fine when I was using the t-mobile sim card with the hypersim.

Make sure it's set to GSM only. If it still doesn't work, then you need to try a different brand of HyperSIM.

In that case, a new hypersim is likely required.

Why would I need a new Hypersim if I can use it with my T-mobile sim card?

Because not all hypersims work with all sim cards. Maybe you just need a newer one.
